Kinesiology (kin-easy-ology) uses muscle testing to determine the imbalances within the body and a combination of healing disciplines to address the different potential causes of the imbalance in the following areas; Structure, Nutrition, Emotion and Energy.
Structure: (bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments) – Specialized lymphatic stimulation using Chapman’s Reflexes encourages lymphatic drainage, in addition to nourishing and cleansing the body at a cellular level.
Nutrition: The testing and ingestion of supplements, herbs and making dietary changes are significant in improving health very quickly. In this day and age, we cannot rely on just food to improve our levels of a certain mineral or vitamin due to the demineralization in soils and the use of pesticides and cooking methods. A therapeutic supplement dosage, which often, needs to be taken only for a short amount of time, is all that is needed to encourage the healing of an affected area very effectively.
Emotion: Different parts of the body are affected by different emotions, for example: the anger is tied to the liver, fear to the kidney and the lungs to grief/sadness. Bach flower remedies are used to discover what will help the emotional imbalance. A Bach flower remedy combination is given to you for free at the end of each session.
Energy: Each muscle is connected to a meridian energy circuit. Meridians are energy pathways throughout the body, and according to the Eastern Oriental knowledge, if they are blocked, dis-ease may arise within the body. In kinesiology, we trace the meridian pathways and also encourage the energy flow by holding key meridian points.
Different muscles pertain to different organ circuits within the body. It would be useful, as an analogy, to view the body as a car with its different circuits and functions. For example, a circuit for the headlights (eyes), a circuit for the fan (lungs) and so forth.
The methods to correct the imbalances, in a sense, re-wire and reset the circuit so that its function is corrected.
A muscle that remains strong after applied physical force, indicates that the organ circuit is functioning well.
A muscle that goes weak indicates that something is out of balance with the organ circuit
There are 7 factors involved for a muscle to be strong:
- Acupuncture Meridian points
- Nerve (where the nerves exit the spine)
All these factors are taken into consideration when correcting an imbalance. Therefore, it is important to note that when there is an imbalance with the lungs for example, that all the realms are taken into account to help correct the function. This for example, may be:
Structural correction: using the lymphatic stimulation
Nutritional: Supplements to help the structure of the muscle associated with the circuit of the lung, such as Magnesium.
Supplements to aid the function of the lung itself, such as Vitamin C or more water. Or to eliminate a habit affecting the lungs such as smoking or being in a smoky environment.
Emotional: For example, we find that the client had a trauma in which he or she lost a family member. Lungs are associated to grief and sadness. A bach flower remedy such as Star of Bethlehem for trauma and shock, may make a muscle strong.
Energetic: Specialized areas are gently held to bring more blood flow. Meridian unblocking and encouragement of energy flow.
It is important to note that in kinesiology we do not diagnose, we simply correct the imbalances. To diagnose is to label, and the diagnosis itself may not reveal the true cause of the problem. For example, jaundice (yellowing) in the eyes, does not mean that the eyes are problematic. It is a sign that the liver is in need of attention.
What made you has the power to heal you
In a nutshell, kinesiology is simply a means of communication with an energy, possibly with the subconscious or superconscious, which gives the practitioner accurate information via the muscle testing method, indicating what is needed to strengthen the weak muscle, thus balancing and restoring the proper function of an organ and all body circuits. This is immensely empowering.
Bruce Lipton is a stem cell biologist/geneticist and is an internationally recognized leader bridging the worlds of science and spirit. He writes that as an individual, you are a community of 50 trillion living cells.
“When you look at yourself you see an individual person. But if you understand the nature of who you are, you realize that you are actually a community of about 50 trillion living cells. Each cell is a living individual, a sentient being that has its own life and functions but interacts with other cells in the nature of a community. If I could reduce you to the size of a cell and drop you inside your own body, you would see a very busy metropolis of trillions of individuals living within one skin. This becomes relevant when we understand that health is when there is harmony in the community and dis-ease is when there is a disharmony that tends to fracture the community relationships. So, number one, we are a community.”
Kinesiology, in a sense, is able to communicate with these cells, that make up your community. Kinesiology gives them the voice so that they may be heard to discover what it is they – hence You, need.
